Course Description

This program trains participants in rope access techniques for working at heights. A Rope Access Technician with Level I certification and 1000 hours of working record on rope can participate in the training and assessment for Level II. As a value addition to the participants, we will assess their trade capabilities and provide them with certification of skills.

What you'll learn in this Course?

The Rope Access Level I program is an entry-level, skill-based training designed to build foundational competence in rope access operations for construction, EPC, offshore, maintenance, and inspection environments. The program introduces rope access principles, safety protocols, IRATA and OSHA standards, and essential equipment such as ropes, harnesses, connectors, and anchorage systems. Participants gain practical exposure to basic ascending and descending techniques, knot tying, equipment inspection, and supervised rope maneuvers. Strong emphasis is placed on hazard identification, PPE usage, risk assessment, and safe work practices. By completing the program, learners are prepared to perform basic rope access tasks safely under supervision while supporting inspection, maintenance, and access activities.

The module highlights how thoughtful planning can directly improve project quality, reduce accidents, and help projects finish on time and within budget.
