This course equips participants with essential mechanical, safety, and quality control skills required for EPC, construction, and industrial maintenance projects. You will learn proficient English speaking to communicate effectively in site and professional environments. Topics include RAT systems, safe rigging practices, joint integrity management, torqueing and tensioning methods, gas cutting techniques, inspection requirements, permit-to-work systems, and compliance with international safety and quality standards to ensure safe and efficient site execution.
The RAT + Rigging + Joint Integrity + Gas Cutting program equips participants with skills in rope access techniques, rigging operations, joint integrity management, and safe gas cutting procedures. The program covers RAT overview, mechanical scope, site safety, rigging fundamentals including lifting techniques and load calculations, bolting and torqueing principles, gas cutting operations, fire prevention, material handling, traceability, and quality compliance. Participants engage in practical exercises including rigging practice, joint integrity tasks, gas cutting simulations, safety protocols, emergency response, documentation, reporting, and shift handover. The training emphasizes hazard identification, risk mitigation, permit to work adherence, team coordination, and communication to ensure safe and efficient mechanical operations.
The module highlights how thoughtful planning can directly improve project quality, reduce accidents, and help projects finish on time and within budget.
BE/BTech Engineering, Diploma Engineer, or ITI with 2 years site experience
Gain proficient English speaking skills, understand RAT applications, perform safe rigging and lifting operations, manage joint integrity activities, apply torqueing and tensioning procedures, execute gas cutting safely, follow ITPs and PTW systems, and maintain QA/QC and safety documentation as per project requirements.
