This course prepares participants for API certification exams required in the Oil & Gas industry. You will learn proficient English speaking to enhance technical understanding and exam communication. The program covers API code fundamentals, inspection methodologies, pressure equipment concepts, piping and vessel inspection basics, RBI principles, calculations, and exam-oriented problem-solving techniques to improve certification success rates.
The API Preparatory Program prepares participants for API certifications including API 510, 570, and 653. The program covers code and standards fundamentals, ASME basics, API code structure, inspection terminology, pressure equipment fundamentals including pressure vessels, piping systems, and tanks, as well as inspection principles such as planning, techniques, acceptance criteria, and reporting requirements. Participants also learn Risk-Based Inspection (RBI) fundamentals, risk assessment, corrosion basics, inspection intervals, thickness calculations, remaining life estimation, and MAWP fundamentals. The program includes exam preparation with mock tests, question-solving practice, time management strategies, documentation, reporting, calculation sheets, and record-keeping. Emphasis is placed on safety during inspection, permit to work, hazard awareness, ethical practices, inspector responsibilities, continuous learning, code updates, and certification renewal.
The module highlights how thoughtful planning can directly improve project quality, reduce accidents, and help projects finish on time and within budget.
Minimum 3-5 years of relevant Oil & Gas or inspection experience
